DAVID TINKIS NAMED PRESIDENT &
CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
FOR GOODWILL INDUSTRIES OF NORTH
SHREVEPORT, LA –
Robert Dunlap, Chairman of the Board of Directors for Goodwill Industries of
North Louisiana, has announced that David Tinkis, of Lancaster, Pennsylvania, has
assumed the role of President and Chief Executive Officer for Goodwill. In his
new position, Tinkis will oversee all day-to-day operations for Goodwill
Industries of North Louisiana.
Tinkis, a native
of Clarkston, Michigan, graduated from Central Michigan University with a
Bachelor's Degree in Psychology. He also earned an MBA from Baker College in
Flint, Michigan. Prior to joining Goodwill Industries, he served over 15 years
in non-profit executive roles with the American Cancer Society, the Boys &
Girls Club and the Salvation Army.
Tinkis has been
married to his wife Missy for 15 years. He has three children, 9-year-old
Jackson, 6-year-old Olivia and 5-year-old Maxwell. He anticipates his family
joining him from Pennsylvania once the fall semester has concluded.

to lead such an established and important organization like Goodwill
Industries. I am excited about the opportunity to bring my experience and
enthusiasm to North Louisiana and look forward to becoming part of the
community.” explained Tinkis.
Goodwill will be hosting a welcome
reception for Tinkis on October, 11, 2012 from 4 to 6 pm. It will take at the
Goodwill Job Center located between Tinseltown and Walmart on Bert Kouns in
